I have the pleasure of sharing the stage with my old colleagues and one of the most influential trumpet players and educators that I had in my life.  Jim Bovinette was a major influence on my playing and challenged me to be better by having me learn alongside the older students.  I now get to play with him, Danny Campbell, Jason Brewer and Kasimu Taylor in November and give a master class to his students at Iowa State.  Full Circle.
